Dr. Alexander Goichman B.Med.Sc D.M.D has been practicing clinical dentistry since 2001. As a young dentist, he believed that by gaining experience in different areas of dentistry and being exposed to diverse and different approaches to dental diagnosis and treatment will allow him to offer his patients the highest level of treatment.
In his early years Alex worked in private and corporate dental practices, he spent months working with Oral surgeons, Prosthodontists, Endodontists and periodontists.
During these years Alex had established his treatment philosophy: Dentistry, same as medicine, needs to start by comprehensive and accurate diagnosis which relays on skill, knowledge and backed by technology.
This is to be followed by detailed planning and only then a high level of treatment. During his clinical career, Alex has noticed that most people don’t like to travel between dental providers for various treatments, therefore; Alex insists that our entire dental team will be constantly training to be able to cover most areas of dental care to the highest standard.
Always wanting to learn and improve Alex is passionate about dental technology and materials. Having a background in chemistry you will often find Alex experimenting with new materials and technologies: attempting to improve working protocols and experiment with different applications.
When not working, Alex enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. He is a trained Barista who often roasts his own coffee, coaches and plays Basketball for Ormond Jets and loves Mountain Biking on the hills and mountains around Melbourne.
